Stefano Barigazzi

Stefano Barigazzi is a singer and guitarist from Emilia-Romagna, Italy.

In 2020 he started solo career, followed by the beginning of a new trio with drummer Giorgio Bovì and bassist Luca La Russa, influenced by blues roots, African music, funk, soul and afrobeat.

In early 2022, he began working on new stuff with producer and musician Roberto Cammarata (formerly with La Rappresentante di Lista, Omosumo, Waines) and released his first EP “Last Desire” in November 2022. Stefano’s deeply blues-soaked writing is also enriched by contemporary influences. The result is a style that pays homage to the strength of the albums that have always have a set place in his home by John Lee Hooker, Elmore James, and sits alongside the worlds of bands such as I Hate My Village, Tinariwen, Khruangbin, Woods, Jack White, Black Keys.
