NEPS
Austria
No matter if it’s stress at work, social media madness, or society’s pressure to perform. The Vienna-based trio NEPS channels their frustration into earthy power pop songs and delivers guitar licks that transport us straight back to the 90s.
With their first two singles “No Money” and “Come Around,” they achieved radio airplay throughout Europe (ByteFM, LRT Opus, 88.6, Urgent.fm) and made a fantastic appearance on the TV morning show “Guten Morgen Österreich” on Austrian public service ORF. They went on to perform at almost 20 concerts in Austria last year, including the showcase “Waves Vienna”, as well as beyond the borders (such as in Hamburg).
With their third single “Melody,” the band proved last September that they generate immense energy not only in their live performances but also on record. The song immediately entered heavy rotation on Radio FM4 and reached the 2th place on the ‘Austrian Indie Charts’. It was also introduced and played on various other radio stations in Europe.
“Good old indie rock. Reminiscent of the danceable disco-rock of the 90s and 00s.” – Andreas Gstettner-Brugger, FM4
Currently, the band is working together with the two producers Patrick Tilg (Feber Wolle) and Jo Stöckholzer (unserallereins) on their debut album “Common Life”, set to be released in autumn 2024 on Feber Wolle records. The first single “Lessons for your Life” is out in march 2024.
