People of Maha is an all-female Bulgarian/Brazilian Indie Rock band from Sofia, Bulgaria. With Alex on drums, Bia on vocals, and Mila on guitar. People of Maha fuses funky beats, melodic guitars, classical elements, and intense vocals with incredible stage presence and engagement for an irresistible package that makes you want to dive into the groove and join in this new musical experience.
Formed in 2018 after the women met during charity concerts, People of Maha released their debut album, Blue to Gold, in 2021 and performed in over 15 cities around Bulgaria during their successful 2021/2022 tour. In 2022 they performed at Live at Heart 2022 in Orebro, Sweden. Recently, they released their new EP Lost Heaven, which includes the singles “Raining Down,” “Can’t Control Myself,” and “Heaven.” 2023 finds the band gearing up for a tour to promote their latest project.
