Lisa Nasta

Lisa Nasta is a seasoned event manager and festival programmer with UK-based juggernauts Glastonbury Festival, WOMAD, and Weyfest. She also coordinates music educational programs and is the Director of Re-Play Music, a non-profit community project that donates musical instruments, educates and entertains children, and is permanent fixture at Kidz Field, Glastonbury Festival.

A master craftsman and luthier, Lisa was the director of the of the Surrey Strings Music Store. Her penchant for festival planning and organization finds its roots there. While at Surrey Strings, she programmed a year-long lunchtime music project, part of the bandstand revival in London, which hosted performances of over 200 artists and bands per year. She also programmed the monthly World Music night at Surrey Strings for two years. Concurrently, Lisa was director at the Abbey School of Music where she managed freelance tutors who delivered key educational programs in group and private lesson formats.

As an artist manager, Lisa created partnerships with Mel Bay International, Bad Reputation Records (France), LWB Music (USA), KRUNK Booking (India), Blue Frog Records (India), Gensure International (China), and Bad Pony Booking (Germany), as well as negotiated endorsements with Yamaha Guitars and TC Electronics. Lisa has organized music tours on almost every continent on the planet, except for Australia.

Throughout her illustrious career Lisa has produced and programmed the main stage for A Country Affair Event on Clapham Common, Morden Hall Park, Hampton Court Palace. She has been twice nominated at the Green Awards at Merton Borough and won 2 M.I.A awards for the Re-Play Project “Environmental Initiative & Sustainability” from Music Industry Association of Britain (MIA) & America (NAMM). Lisa is currently the Site Coordinator for Green Futures Field, Glastonbury Festival in charge of production and entertainment programming, where she is assisted by Boyan Robert Pinter.
