Ophan
Bulgaria
Ophan (which translates to “wheel” in Latin) is a progressive metal band hailing from Sofia, Bulgaria. Ophan approaches songwriting from a conceptual standpoint, creating and capturing sounds and emotions that form a multi-layer storyline. The band breaks the mold by coming up with unique ideas that are designed to carry a strong message in support of the overarching theme of their songs and albums. Ophan won the 2017 Bulgarian WOA Metal Battle and performed at Wacken Open Air that same year.
The band is currently in the final stages of production for their first full length album and has already released its opening song “The Fool”.
