The newly formed duo Woomb, based between London and Sofia, features singer-songwriter Hristo Yordanov and composer/producer Gueorgui Linev, founder of Billboard-charting project Kan Wakan. The name of the duo refers to the unspoken and unsatisfied hunt for a love that we treasure. A love as limitless as the one we have felt in the womb.
After teasing with a performance video of the haunting “Pray for the Words” and making their first live appearance through the summer, in October, Woomb released their official first single – “Last Rays”, accompanied by a video which combines Bulgarian pagan symbols, Greek mythology and biblical elements.
In November, Woomb did their first sold-out gig in Sofia and are currently working on their debut EP.
